Artemide Vigo Suspension lamp

Vigo is a suspension lamp designed by David Chipperfield for Artemide, with borosilicate glass diffuser with anti-reflective blasting; aluminum lamp body with a painted finish, and steel bracket.
Vigo is a family of lamps that includes wall lamps, floor and suspension; its design reminiscent of the classic cone-shaped lamps with the inner light source. Vigo consists of two overlapping cones, one placed inside and flush with the other, and each in a different material. The inner cone is made of black metal while the outer one is of transparent hand-blown borosilicate glass. The two cones produce an aesthetic contrast but act together technically to shape, direct and diffuse the light.
